Why this site exists

Most "best pressure washing software" articles are written by people who never opened the app. They rank tools by who pays the highest affiliate commission, copy the pricing page, and call it a review. An operator reads it, signs up, and finds out on day three that the thing doesn't do what they needed.

CrewKit exists to fix that for one specific trade: pressure washing and exterior cleaning. The goal is simple — help you pick the software that runs your business without wasting a month and a few hundred dollars finding out the hard way.

Who's behind it

CrewKit is the work of Cole Marsh, the editorial voice and lead reviewer for the site. Cole is the persona every review is written under — one consistent set of standards, one methodology, so you always know what "we tested it" means on this site. No rotating cast of anonymous freelancers, no ghostwritten vendor copy.

How we test

We buy and test field service software hands-on, and clearly label what we've tested versus what we've researched. That line is the whole methodology. Here's what it means in practice:

If we haven't put our hands on a tool, we will never imply that we did. That distinction is the entire point of the site.

The pricing-fidelity rule

Software pricing changes, and SERP results are full of stale or wrong numbers. So we hold a standing rule: prices and plan names for the tools we test are copied verbatim from our own findings, never lifted from a competitor's article or an outdated screenshot. Every price in an article is checked against our canonical record before it publishes, and dated "as of mid-2026 — verify current." If a number looks off to you, check the vendor's site and tell us — we'll fix it.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission. It does not change the ranking, the verdict, or the price you pay. The tool ranked first is the one we'd tell a friend to buy — including when that recommendation earns us less than the alternative would. Full details on the affiliate disclosure page.
